The Soho Park kiosk

The Soho Park kiosk in Portal de Elche started this Wednesday a new stage after carrying out the project by Ideas Interiorismo. The reform of the structure and the surrounding elements has been carried out while respecting the architectural value and essence of the kiosk.

The interior design project has focused on the Portal de Elche not to lose its uniqueness while maintaining the original design. Four pergolas have been installed, one in each corner of the square, with the same design as the central roof of the kiosk, thus avoiding umbrellas or parasols that would cover the wonderful surroundings.

These pergolas prevent leaves from falling from the trees onto the new furniture and allow light to pass through. The wooden platform surrounding the kiosk has been changed and 4 refrigerators have been added around the central structure. These refrigerators have been covered with the same tiles as the kiosk so that they are part of the structure and go unnoticed.

A functional and decorative lighting study has been carried out to highlight the most characteristic elements of the kiosk, in order to create an exquisite lighting atmosphere of well-being and enjoyment for visitors. The color black will predominate in the lighting elements, in order to integrate them with the umbrellas and the environment.

The interior design project is based on maintaining the essence of the Portal de Elche, improving it so that it remains a meeting point where to talk and enjoy the wonderful views of this green lung in the center of the city of Alicante.
