Interior design and architecture project made by Ideas Interiorismo Studio together with the architect Víctor Tatay in a perfect team. An exciting project for Ideas Interiorismo Studio from the very beginning to the end due to two reasons: firstly, the clients, a charming and thrilled family involved in the project, eager to any change and, secondly, the final result.
Open spaces dominate in the areas for daytime activity connected to each other and only separated by floor to ceiling glass doors hidden when open. Thus everything is connected and allows to move freely. Through the installation of the same pavement in the inside and the outside we can enlarge the housing, getting a living-dining room with unclear visual dividers enlarging the space.
In the kitchen, we have followed the same criteria as for the daytime activity areas, that is, we have opened the spaces. An island at the centre of the kitchen facing the outside covers the main services while the rest of the space is used for storage and breakfast area. White color, always associated to cleanliness, has been combined with the warmth of wood that highlights the large black windows and the decorative elements.
The staircase is placed on the first floor central area so that its design can be seen from all the daytime activity common areas. The skirting board has been set back in order to hide the lighting in its interior and create an optical effect of volatility. The wooden lattice hides the staircase side apart from being the main decorative element of the central part of the house. The backlit banister invites us to go upstairs.
In the master bedroom a warm and cozy night atmosphere has been created thanks to the materials and colours used. The facing of the wall is made by soporte no hilado providing the stay with simplicity and elegance. The bedrooms on the first floor are neutral, to add a freshness feeling we use green color scale for the decorative elements such as the beds or linen.
Light-coloured wall facings with textures similar to natural stone, furniture lacquered in white with solid surface countertops without any joint and big mirrors providing a sense of wideness. The warmth arrives from the wood and the warm backlight.
In this kind of dwelling, focusing on the details composing it is essential to create a timeless design. The continuous natural flooring in all the rooms, using common finishes with the same tone in the wood or black in the metal elements create that atmospheres merge in the day area.
With the use of large windows in the garden and the swimming pool, we eliminate the barrier between interior and exterior areas. The exteriors are specially important for the project because, due to its architecture, a longitudinal terrace has been generated. Next to it, a wooden flooring is the frame for the swimming pool and the solárium.
